The Knit and Natter Fellowship meet every Wednesday 11.00-12.30pm for time of fellowship, conversation, with a little bit of knitting thrown in! There is no need to be a knitter to join in the fun however.
Although formed as a vehicle for fellowship, the group are careful to ensure that the Christian message is at the heart of what they do, so every meeting has a short time of reflection and the group's craft efforts all have a charitable purpose.
So far the group have been crafting:
- prayer shawls to distribute to those finding themselves facing struggles in life
- twiddle muffs given to help those with dementia
- teddy bears for children in hospital
- clothes for premature babies
